Healing Together: Community and Eating Disorder Recovery

Join us for a special virtual event hosted by MEDA and Rock Recovery in honor of Eating Disorders Awareness Week!

Because we know that healing does not occur in isolation, this year’s theme, Unifying through Community and Connection, invites us all to come together for an open and meaningful conversation.  Our panel of eating disorder clinicians, advocates, and individuals with lived experience will share their stories, insights, and expertise. Together, we’ll explore the vital role that community plays in the journey of recovery. This is a chance to connect, listen, and learn as we address the barriers that often stand in the way of accessing treatment—like stigma, misinformation, and lack of representation. Through storytelling and shared experiences, we aim to create a space where all voices are heard, and all are welcome

We hope you’ll join us in building a supportive, compassionate world where everyone has the opportunity to receive the mental health care they deserve. Attendees will also have the chance to ask questions and engage directly with our panelists.

A heartfelt thank you to our panelists for offering their time and expertise to this important conversation. As you prepare your questions, we ask that we all remain respectful of one another’s unique experiences and perspectives. We can’t wait to have you with us!
